My first computer role-playing game was Wizardry on my friend’s Apple IIe. I later played a bit of Ultima III, Bard’s Tale and Might and Magic II but never finished any of them. Then I really didn’t play much at all until the mid-1990’s when I got a Sega Genesis and played Shining Force and Phantasy Star III.
I’ve since played a lot of computer and console RPG’s but I realize there are a lot of good, classic games I’ve missed or haven’t played in awhile. And there are some I’ve never finished but meant to. That’s what this blog is about.
I find when I write about them as I play it helps me stay focused and actually finish some of the games. And when I do finish a game, I like to put my thoughts together and write a review before I move on to the next one. I started this project with Playstation RPG’s and will still focus primarily on them, but I’ll also be adding some games for other systems along the way.
I think I’ll be working on this project for a long time…
